Five years ago, I was promoted to an office job and slowly got bigger each year. I kept having to buy new clothes as I got bigger.

I love to eat, so I tried over the past 5 years to increase my exercise, since I decided I couldn't change my eating habits. But because of the amount of food I was eating, I still couldn't lose weight.

In January 2010, I went to the Rose Bowl. When I saw photos of myself from the event, I realized I was huge. That's when I heard SENSA® ads on local sports talk radio. Then I saw a banner ad online and clicked on it.

What drew me in is that SENSA® offered a 6 month program with a beginning and an end, as opposed to the other weight loss systems, where I didn't know if the program would cost $300 or $3000. I also liked the price and decided to move forward.

By the time I had finished my second month, I had lost 8 to 10 pounds. I had more energy to exercise.

By July, I had bought all new pants, having dropped from a size 42 waist to a size 34 waist. By the end of August, all those pants were too big.

Recently, my brother and I hiked 21 miles in 2 1/2 days on the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina. I beat my brother, who leads outdoor adventures, by 30 minutes to the top! Nine or ten months ago, I couldn't have done it.

When I graduated high school my waist was 33". Now my waist is 32"!
